On November 6th, Abilis Solutions Inc. was awarded the 2014 “Carrefour Europe” prize by the organizing committee of the Carrefour Europe event (regrouping the European Trade Chambers of Austria, Belgium, France, Hungary, Italy, and Switzerland; the European Union Centre of Excellence; the Quebec Manufacturers and Exporters; Dentons and the Ministère de l’Économie de l’Innovation et des Exportations) emphasizing Quebec entrepreneurial success in Europe. The Carrefour Europe award was presented at a luncheon of the annual event, which had over 160 participants, including several economic attachés of various ministries or governments (Austria, Belgium, France, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland).

The candidacy of Abilis was chosen amongst  six finalists, noting the opening and establishment of a permanent office in Utrecht as well as the arrival of our first employee, Frank van Poeteren (VP Business Development European market). This award also granted  Abilis with  two flight tickets offered by the joint venture Delta, KLM, Air France, Alitalia allowing Abilis to continue its business development in Europe.
