Abilis Welcomes Benjamin Wright as Vice President of Customer Success

Montréal, February 3rd, 2020: Abilis is pleased to announce the addition of Benjamin Wright as the company’s Vice President Customer Success. In his role, Ben’s top priorities will be to build and execute on the client relationship management plan and measure the customers satisfaction level. He will also oversee the CORIS® Community and manage the promotion of Abilis’ professional services, while working closely with different stakeholders (i.e. Sales & Marketing, Delivery, Finance, Product).

Benjamin Wright is currently a Special Purpose Faculty member of the Criminal Justice Department at Radford University.  He has taught classes in a broad variety of topics including criminology, corrections, gangs, and criminal justice management.  During his time at Radford University, Benjamin Wright has been nominated for three distinguished teaching awards. Additionally, Benjamin managed the Criminal Justice Department’s externship program and served as a faculty advisor for Lambda Alpha Epsilon, an academic criminal justice fraternity. Ben’s published work includes an article related to death penalty, and several book chapters regarding the use of canines in treatment programming; a criminological theory textbook is pending publication.

Prior to Radford University, Ben was employed with Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) for over 17 years.  He held different positions with VADOC, serving as a warden for his final five years. Ben was a Lead Warden at Greensville Correctional Center, Virginia’s largest correctional facility, and served as the initial warden at the River North Correctional Center. Ben is a two-time recipient of the Director’s Teamwork award, and the recipient of the Director’s award for innovation. During his tenure with VADOC Ben managed a team of subject matter experts involved in the development and implementation of CORIS® Virginia. Ben received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Longwood College, and his master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Longwood University. Ben also has a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration from Longwood University.
